Accessibility statement
This website has been built with WCAG 2.x AA principles in mind, including keyboard access, visible focus states, readable contrast, scalable text and clear content structure.
Accessibility controls
The toolbar at the top of every page lets visitors increase text size, reduce text size, reset the view, switch on high contrast, underline links and use a simpler readable font. These preferences are stored locally in the browser so the setting remains as visitors move around the site.
Design approach
- Semantic page structure with a skip-to-content link
- Keyboard-visible focus indicators
- High contrast mode for users who need stronger colour separation
- Plain language headings and descriptive links
- Meaningful alternative text for real photographs and diagrams
- Responsive layout for mobile and tablet use
- Reduced motion support for users who request it in their device settings
Important note
No website should claim perfect compliance without live manual testing, assistive technology checks and user testing. This package has been adjusted to support WCAG 2.x AA requirements, but final sign-off should include keyboard testing, screen reader testing and checks after deployment.
